Location:
Ravelo is part of the municipality of La Matanza. The 14.11 km2 community in northeast Tenerife owes its name to the battle that took place there during the conquest, in which the Spaniards were defeated by the indigenous people. The municipality borders on La Victoria de Acentejo, Candelaria and El Sauzal and its highest point is 1589 meters above sea level in Lomo del Jugo. In the municipality there are various town tours where you can get to know the landscape, cozy spots, winegrowing and gastronomy. On the side lane to TF-5, which is designed as a one-way street, a footpath has been laid out, which has some rest areas where you can relax a little or which serve as viewpoints with a view of the coast.
